Service Times

ServicesAt Beth Tzedec, our experienced clergy lend their distinctive talents to enhance our worship services. Their thought-provoking words beautifully tie together the ideals of our ancient religion with the modernity of our world.

We offer daily Minyanim, morning and evening, for those who are saying Kaddish, but equally as importantly, for those who just want to come and pray and meditate, and start or end their day with a few minutes of nourishment for their Jewish “Neshoma”.

Shabbat mincha and ma'ariv take place weekly in the Chapel. Because times vary on a weekly basis, please consult with the synagogue office or Shofar Announcements for scheduled service times.

Shabbat Services

  • Friday  Evenings: 6:00 pm, however during November, December, January, and  February, times vary and they will be announced by the Rabbi.
  • Saturday Morning: 9:00 am
  • Saturday Mincha: Please phone the office at (403) 255-8688

Kabbalat Shabbat Services

  • At  our Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday evening, we welcome Shabbat with  prayer and song. Services are held at 6.00pm all year round.

Shabbat Morning Services

  • Our  Shabbat morning services are held in the main Sanctuary. In the Kiddush  that follows the Shabbat or Festival service, there is time to visit  with friends, to discuss the message conveyed in the morning’s Torah  Commentary or sermon, and to enjoy some refreshments. Often, members of  the congregation participate in or sponsor the Kiddush.

Weekday Services

  • Monday – Friday morning 7.45 Shacharit
  • Sunday morning 9.00 Shacharit
  • Weekday evenings 6.00 Maariv
  • Please note that times change on Stat Holidays. Please call the office for more information.
