Youth Programming

United Synagogue Youth is the youth movement of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism or USCJ and is more commonly known as USY, is a youth group with members from the United States and Canada dedicated to creating a fun, educational environment where Jewish teenagers can connect in hopes of meeting other Jewish teens in a comfortable atmosphere, combating assimilation, supporting Israel and giving and performing charity.

The organization is open to all Jewish teenagers grades 9-12 and membership at Beth Tzedec is not a requirement. This program offers a number of exciting and dynamic programs including the following:

  • Encampment, Fall Kinnus, International Convention (Florida 2010), Spring Kinnus, Regionals
  • Getting involved on Chapter board
  • Fundraising Events/ Tikun Olam projects
  • BBQ's, lectures, film festivals
  • Shabbat and Havadallah services
  • Movie, Games & lounge night
